I love the sensuality of oil paint, its smell, texture, its contemplative slowness and capacity for spontaneity.
The paintings are inspired by the atmospheric colours and light of the landscapes around me and by the impulse of a subtle inner sensitivity.
They are feeling paintings. That of peace, liberty, spirit and calm and those deeper realms of the heart that take us through an inner journey of longing, surrender and love.
I am from London, UK, and currently live by the ocean on the west coast of Portugal.
My work has been commissioned for the corporate collections of Dior and is held in private collections around the world.
New works are available from the galleries of Amelie Maison d'Art in Paris and New York.
Visits to my atelier in Portugal are always welcome.
